But soft, what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,
Who is already sick and pale with grief
That thou, her maid, art far more fair than she.

Ahhh…Romeo and Juliet; a story that does not end well for all involved. And yet the romance draws us. Despite the cathartic benefits of a good cry from tragic story telling, we here at the Beech Tree prefer a more happy ending.  So on the subject of romance, it is with great pleasure that we can reveal our draft menu for Valentines day, Saturday February 14th. As with our New Year’s Eve menu, ingredients and suppliers are not always one-hundred percent guaranteed, thus, neither is our menu.  The ingredients may have to be altered at the last minute, but we will stick to the spirit of it all. We have devised this menu as a way to capture some of our inspirations; our hopes of heating up a mid-winter’s eve with  fine wine and excellent supping. We have looked to the Mediterranean for some influence, a land of warm breezes, azure waters and romance.  There will be some sharing dishes this time around, to encourage our guests to get up close and personal with their dinner companions.

We are offering a $75 four course prix fixe menu (includes a glass of Prosecco). There are a few early tables still available in the reservation book, so please give us a ring if you’d like to join us.

Cheers!
